Was a good meet, will get piccies uploaded as soon as I get home.
Andy did have some very bad luck with his car Just hope it gets sorted out soon. Before the problems though, I was lucky enough to get taken for a spin and OMG Bloody superb! I was like the whole time Such acceleration, and the noise when it gets towards 9k rpm... *drool*
Also good to meet a few more Northern peeps - Howdy all
Oh, and for those who gave Claire stick about her install plans, etc The DVD was in yesterday and looked & sounded bloody quality
Did anyone else see the accident on the M1 South afterwards? A black Corsa C (not from here) stuffed straight into the back of a silver Focus right in front of me in the bloody outside lane! Had to help 'em out the car and ended up waiting around for the police, etc...
The driver should be thankful for airbags...
Anyhoo, that aside, good meet peeps

yeah, nice to meet some of you yesterday. Sorry I wasa bit preoccupied and couldn't get to take some of you for a spin (especially you Kerry ), but after a little high speed out with Trotty, a bent selector fork in the gearbox meant that it got jammed in 4th
The good news is that those nice AA people took me and car back to ProTec (who opened up especially so I could drop car off) then me all the way back home. Gearbox is being sorted as I type and I'm having uprated forks in this time The joys of modified engines
Anyway, I think Ian will confirm that (when it's working ) it's reasonably nippy...

Clare's car is superb - what attention to detail! A shame some of the detractors on here opened their mouths without having actually seen the car for themselves...

Will be sorted very soon and when I come down to pick it up, promise to let you know well in advance. Gearbox problem is annoying, but actually not major to sort. Besides, ProTec are doing the work free of charge as I've only had the box in for a month. One of them things that can fail in any box, just unlucky it happened when it did.
