Alright can anyone please help: i am doing some big time arch work to fit my 19's, got to the drivers side front wing and came accross the charcoal box, just wondered if anyone has relocated this, where to? and was it an easy job?

its got abit about this in the max haynes manual. i mite have to move it cos i got some audi a4 repeaters to go in.

i moved it to fit golf mk4 side reps, moved it upwards i belive

cheers, just wondered if anyone has completely moved it somewhere else, i was thinking under the bonnet? this be ok u think? i cant see a problem really

i need to do this too, i cant see a problem with it being in the engine bay myself but then i dont really know what its there for!

ive just done a 2litre conversion and theres a pipe comin from the charcoal box that now doesnt have a home to go to so i guess mine aint doin anything anyway! wonder if i can remove it?

had a propa look tonight and its for emmisions as far as i know so under bonnet will be fine . .. . itl have to be lol, gonna make room for it under scuttle panel, jus enough space i think

its for absorbing petrol fumes from the fuel tank, you shouldnt just take it out
