in my local station the unleaded is currently 76.9 p 95 ron an super is 97 ron an 82.9p fuck that for a bowl of sugar n cherries!!

normal UL is 95 RON
Super is 97 RON
Optimax is 98 RON

SUL has a higher RON rating which means it is more resistant to detonation than UL. optimax has a higher still RON rating.
UL 95
SUL 97
opti 98-98.6 RON
the higher the RON the more advance you can run on your timming, the more boost you can run and the more power you will get because of it

most engines are desgined to run on a specifi RON for maximum efficency/power
eg mine is meant to run on 98 RON, but can run on the others as the knock sensor will retard the timing

Its ment to, I tried it on my car and didnt notice any difference.
It does work on Jap import cars so ive been told cos there built to run on 105ron petrol.

I used to test petrol, Diesel + Aviation fuel when I worked at BP
I also helped to commission the cleaner Diesel, by researching the sulphur content before it went on sale
Kerry, 95ron will be fine in your car, 97 will just cost more££ with no actual benifits to the car
