Does anybody know if there are any dangers of doing it?

I heard if you do it a LOT then you can get troubles with your voice box when you get older or something ??

Not really any long term problems, jus in the short term obviously there will be a hypoxic/hypercapnic effect! Divers breath helium all the time in proportions, an it doesnt do any harm...
