The speed limit for a dual carraige way with national speed lmit signs is 70mph the GF is adamant its 60 and shes only just passed not long ago there isnt a change in the law or nething is there?

Yes dual carraige in a national speed limit zone way is 70mph, 60mph for single.

Says so in the highway code aswell

70 on dual carriageway with steel barrier down the middle, or 60 on normal dual carriageway - thats the way i know it however i could be wrong...

and motorways is 70mph.

thbe only places that you can do 70mph on is a dual carriage way and the motorways....everything else that is marked as national speed is 60mph And the above apply to a car....towing nothing

I had a copped who tried to pull me over (2 young coppers) for speeding on a single road freeway. He argued that it was a 50mph and not a 60mph. I disagreed and totally argued. Especially as he read my plate out as
