i cudnt believe it the other week, the council were told not to put any more cameras up in the town, so they decided that only the ones that hav been planned can go up. so within my town (isnt very big really at all), they hav added at least 20 new cameras, they wer already like 25 to start with. every other road now has a camera on it
im not one to speed dont get me wrong, but come the places they hav put them are ridiculous.
hav other towns got any new ones, or is Blackburn just unlucky

in northwich, we have none, only have one up near sandiway (on way to chester), and on the way to the M6 via knutsford, thats it!
And the roads aint exactly slow ones, you can easily give ya motor a bit of stick & not worry that much

got pulled by a plod a few weeks ago for goin a bit too fast (32mph) in a 30mph zone at about 1am... He breathalysed me, sat and talked about football and uni for a bit, then said that "everyone speeds" and let me go...
at least you can reason with a human being...

we got our first one in hereford about 2 months ago. The only time of day when there are people around and speeding is more dangerous, the traffic is so bad you cant speed past it anyway, so it seems a stupid place to put it.

in my area theres about 6 in the town.
2 are on a dual carrage way going uphill, not many cars could go faster then 40 from the round about to be caught, 1 never works, the other 1 a huge down hill slope and is set to 30 on a 40 road so it tests your brakes good. another 2 are dotted on the other side of town were i never venture but they dont work either.
best waste of my tax money ever! aint i happy.!

During the day its ridiculous, but i've seen many a boyracer go through there at night.
The camera's placed at the bottom of a big hill, people have got flashed on push bikes apparently. A couple of us "BMX'ers" are gonna try and get it to flash while we moonie, could be interesting....

There's only 2 that I've seen and are outside Darlington.
90mph in a Starlet. "uh, dad speed camera", no flash.
