This might be a daft question but Im just not sure on exaclt how it would work..... I want to make a switching unit that will be used for my neons and LEDs and stuff like that. I have got a fused distribution box and all the wire. If I wire them striaght off the battery, via switches, will they stil work when the ignition is off?? If so how do I stop this?? Do you need to wire into the ignition??
Cheers

use an ignition live to switch a relay, which switches on your permanent live.
