aim for a Snooper 815 at least, or a bel 550 if u can find one cheap enough. These cut out more of the annoying false alarms.
The 815 is usually around £100 on ebay
the 550 is around the £200 mark on ebay
The best at the mo is the Snooper S6R neo around £400

Retail is £350.00 so it was either second hand and very cheap or not a road angel. It also costs £50 a year to get updates on it or £99 for the life time of the unit.

I've recently purchased the Snooper S6-R Neo from some company that advertises on MIGWeb, for £385 inc. delivery (normal retail price is about £450+ I believe).
Uses GPS to inform you of fixed speed cameras, ie. Gatso, Truvelo, SPECS, etc., and it has a normal radar detector unit for detecting mobile/handheld radar and laser speed cameras.
You have to pay £4.95 a month subscription (first 6 months free) to download the latest speed camera locations to the GPS control unit.
Excellent bit of kit, saved my ass when I was driving up to Manchester, and more recently, to Glasgow!
