how do u find out the machines hard drive size?

ive got xp so dont kno!

right click it go to properties

Just go into My Computer, right click the hard disk, select poroperties and it will reveal all.

The same way you do in all versions of Windows, from memory...

Go into My Computer, right-click on the hard-drive you want to know the size of, and then left-click on Properties...

another way, open a dos prompt & type FDISK

press Y to enable large disc support

then select option 4 to display the disk/partition info, this will then list all partitions on the drive & any free space which can be turned into partitions

if there is more than 1 HDD in the machine, select option 5 to switch fixed disks, then select option 4 again to view the info

but dont go messing with 1, 2, or 3 unless you shutdown into MSDOS mode, doing any changes while in windows can fek things up!
