See everyone thinks Alpine is the daddy.....

BUT The Pioneer comes with a 13band EEQ, the Alpine does not

its only cos the Aplines usually include a 6v preout that everyone says Alpine.

I say Nakamichi

They beat everyone hands down ... Even the Alpine F1 Status

Nice unit you got there matey, well done. Not you just need the rest of the system sorting... You have gone in the right direction with that unit

to be honest, alpines are pretty expensive for what you get and they dont look all that

However, i have to agree Nakamichi will win anything !!! there mint HU's...though you'll need the green fibre for em

i love it !!

nice little unit and sounds great for the money

but it isnt visually pleasing, although the facia is aluminium, which is something. Also, mp3 isnt what i expected. It plays everything fine and sounds great (could be a tad better tho) but i had the impression that it would be like a CD and it would have no gaps/waits etc. But its take about 20-30secs loading a mp3 CD up and take about 2-3 secs to change tracks. Also, it take a little while to loads CDs, maybe 10secs or so. But thats about it. Overall im happy with the thing and out of 10 i would give it 8.5...mainly because of the 6.5v preouts though

Looks good mate. I have a Pioneer 8400MP which sounds lovely and looks class.

Pioneer are quality.

Although next time I'll buy an Alpine.

Not gonna argue with the sound or quality of Nakamichi headunits but why do they make them so shity looking!! There not just boring most the 1's i c look worse than alot of standard headunits
