Where has anyone who has done this conversion mounted the ECU?Its a proper massive thing and there doesn't seem to be any obvious place for it to go.

it goes behind plastic cover in drivers footwell m8, u have to trim loads off it and it will just about fit

There's a silver box of tricks wi Mitsubishi on it gettin in the way really,is this on all Corsa's?I have a feeling its summat to do with the electric power steering that only the 12v's have,I could be wrong though!

it maybe ur old ecu m8 - ive put mine in the footwell, but mine was a 1.6

Nah,it aint the old ECU,that was made by Bosch,this is deffo Mitsubishi and its gettin in the way

I remember a few years back the power steering stopped working and I traced it to a loose connection coming out of that box.

I don't think yours will have one with it being hydraulic steering instead.

If there was enough length on the loom it could go behind the glovebox instead but I dont think there is. It a pain in the arse too cos that and the gear linkage are the only things left to finish,I'm dying to get out and drive it!!

Yeah,maybe,its just such a big numb thing with a massive plug on it that it fairly limits where it can go. I hope its gonna be worth all this hassle in the end!!

The Mitsi box is the control unit for your electric power steering.. like mine. A couple of cable ties and you can secure the ECU under the dash under the steering theres stacks or room.. trust me

mine is cable tied under steering column at the bottom.
