When I drive the temp guage flies from one end to the other and vibrates all over the shop. Can't see a pattern with it while driving... other than its off the clock on idle.
I changed the rocker cover gasket before it started happening so I assume the temp sensors connected to that? Can anyone help?

find and check the temp sensor and wiring
does it do this from start up?
then its gotta be the sensor

mine is always at the bottom of the scale doesnt change at all

i have never seen mine go above 95. And that was in 40degrees heat in that heatwave. I was dead impressed with that. It sits at 90 all day long, regardless of speed, AAT etc etc

mines goes over 100 "i think" then fan cuts in and it cools

thats how i blew the head on my old engine, fan switch was faulty overheated on the m18
