Got side swiped on a roundabout tonight, by a guy who did see the roundabout, the rear 17" alloy is pointin outwards and and upwards looks like a bent axle and the rear bumper and rear quarter panel is mashed along with the GSI skirts, looks like a write off, what do you guys think, i am fully comp and its his fault i have 2 witnesses.
Cars a M-reg GSI it had a full front end re-spray smoothed GSI bumpers, 17" Miglia Action Alloys, Lowered 60mm magnex exhaust system, new engine with only 100miles on it!!!!!!!!!!, tinted windows lexus rear lights (also smashed)
So write Off???????? oh and smashed me face on the steering wheel NICE!!!

Jeez. Thought I was having bad luck.
Gonna cost over a grand to get it all back again.
My advice - take a lump hammer to the blokes car / head / pets.

really sorry to hear that mate, i think you should get a BMX!

difficult to say on a M plate dude prob will be a write off.

You should however go to A&E or doctor straight away. Personal injury....

Dont even contact the bloke do it buy the book get photos of skidmarks or whatever and damage to ur car. When it comes to shit like this you got to make yourself 100% water tight against the lieing bastards which change there story.

anyway even if car is a write off you should have the option of buying the car back from the insurance company. Then just rebuild into another shell

Before the insurance company take it anyware find out if they operate the buy back option, you dont want to loose everythin.

Best thing to do about re-build/repair is have it looked at by an accident repair centre.

If it was just panel’s id say yeah get it fixed but you may be looking at a major suspension and chassis geometry problems.

When i crashed mine both the left wheels were severeley under the car, broke the steering, drive shaft, axle, brakes etc. The cost of the repair RRP was about £3k. Depending on the value of your car i'd say its a write off because of the bodywork damage that mine didn't have any of

I fitted the viper it was on the car for about 15 hours, sounded nice cos i didnt have time to hook up the cold air feed, been told by my insurers that if the repair bill is more than 3K its a write off!!!!!!

if its his fault and his insurance is paying then you have the right for them to pay to have it fully restored to its previous condition. his insurance can offer you a settlement but you dont have to accept it.
