curls! i do 3 sets of 10 reps on each arm, if you do this coupledwith other exercises, such as lat pull down 3 times a a week for 4 weeks you will see a difference

curls you get a wieght that you can lift
1.stand or sit keep you back straight dont jurk it when lifting.
2. keep your elbow tucked into your body
3. and your arms down by your side.
4. then lift weight to your shoulder or chest and back down this is classed as 1 rep do 10 of these on each arm. i dont know if your a big bloke or not but 7.5 - 10Kg should be fine.

7.5 to 10Kg will befine if you find you cannot do 3 set of 8 then go down a weight. but you want to be knackered afterwards but not out of breath.
define dead lift to me. do you mean a barbell and picking this up and jurking it in the air.

I got big arms by this routine:
1 - you need two dumbells, one really heavy, and one really light one
2 - Sit on a chair with the heavy dumbell on the floor between your legs,
3 - lean over the dumbell, and grab it with one elbow resting on your inner thigh
4 - Lift the dumbell to your chin and slowly release to the floor (repeat 10 times)
5 - now change to the light one and do the same technique but do 20 reps (flows the blood back out of the muscle
6 - then do the heavy weight another 10 times (this rips the muscle thus giving definition)
repeate this 5 times on each arm
shouldnt hurt your collor bone as you dont use any muscles other than your bicep and tricep.

Stop bein a wimp! No pain no gain just kiddin, its the only thing i can think of that wouldnt involve using your shoulder muscles. (try it with lighter weights) you can get size with light weights, but you wont get definition.
