I just sprayed my arches and top bit of the rear bumper where the dimple effect is, to colour code them, it looks good. As this is the 1st time I done it. so please with it!
My mate said after a bit the paint will come off is this true? If so how long?

as long as you have sanded it down primed it sprayed sanded sprayed sanded and laquered it, it should be ok (also that is a very rough guide.)

Depends on how well you prepped the surface beforehand and the quality of the primer /paint/ laquer, what did you do to spray them?

i sanded it down realy well, using wet n dry 120 paper
primed it using halfords primer 3 coats then wet n dry using 1200 paper.
the painted i was using is from vauxhall, 3 coats then laquer it 3 coats!

as long as you used PLASTIC primer you will be ok otherwise the paint wont stick and it will peel off

it will be fine, after all the rest of the bumper is made of the same stuff and the paint doesnt peel of that

ive used that halfords primer on plastic and a bit on metal, hasnt showed any signs whatsoever of coming off either

good cos i used normal primer on my arches 2!!!

the bottom of the bumper if they are half colour coded is different plastic, and its then bonded on
