as i told ya all 2 weeks ago i crashed me car, t reg sxi
well it went 2 the bodyshop last monday, hadnt heard a word all week, so i rang up on friday, and got told
"did the engineer not ring?, o well its a class b write off and its being scrapped tomorrow"
err, no its not mate, its stayin where it is, until i tell u otherwise.
so eventually ive been told that the damage is 125% of the cars value, roughly 3k
which is bollocks, its bout 1k at most.
so im now hopin 2 buy the car back and repair it myself,
if all goes well i should come out of this well, but if i lose the car, ill b well outta pocket!!

That's what i might do if mine refuse to pay out, get it dumped on my drive and strip it, the engine and front are reasonably damage free, the engines only done 20k, totally undamaged!

Assuming they're not taking the mick with the offer, have it written off. Repairing a car is difficult and costs more than you'll probably account for. Plus it'll never be the same again, plus its on the register. Harsh, but financially it doesn't make sense to keep it.

unless you get it for pennies and you KNOW you can reapir it cheaply and sell it on... or break for spares....
that initself is a major hassle...
Ned's saying the'll have this n that... takes ages to actually shift the lot

Yeah but if its legally written off in that class then you can't return it to the road even if you assumed repair to be very cheap.
Ask yourself if it was that minor why it has been written off?
