the handbrake light on the instrument panel has lit up twice now while ive been driving,is it the brake pads getting low or low brake fluid etc??
the other thing thats worrying me is that when i went to go out in the car last night i started it up and it was idling at about 500 rpm where its usually 1000.i tried to keep the revs up as i reversed out of the garage but it cut out,it then took a while of me turning it over and giving some revs before it would start.
what will this be?? could it just be the cold?
thanks for any help!

aye check the pad level before doing anything.
that idle thing happened to me twice when i had my corsa. basically it ran like a bag of spanners for about 10s then sorted itself out
from what i could work out, the ECU had somehow reset itself, and it was recalibrating itself

there is no pad warning light ON ANY CORSA B released.
the only reason ull get the light on is because the pistons have to travel further to get the desired braking effect and therefore moving fluid reduces the level in the tank sufficient for the sender to bring on the light to indicate low fluid level.
