My headlights flicker but only when engine is running, when the engine is off and you run them off the battery, they are fine. Any ideas, tests i can do. cheers

no ice fitted, i got told it could be the regulator on the alternator cause the engine has done about 20k.

He said it only does it with engine on, so why would ICE make headlights not flicker when engine is off? Anyhow, sounds like a knackered alternator matey.
