i wasnt in the mood for argueing with them, they would have known me anyway and knew that i always answer coppers back. they would have been surprised

i do not have any luck no, i put a complaint in once but another copper just came round the next nite and made up some story about me n doin handbrake turns. they claim they had video evidence of this 
so that is the last time i complain.

You're only supposed to use fog lights when visability gets below a certain distance, it's in the highway code I believe.

yes i know, but it was really foggy. like 3 in 4 cars had fogs on, but of course coppers let the beemers and mercs off

Zis Iz True.........But do the police think that every cnut on the road carries a tape measure with them and when it gets foggy, they get out of the car, tie one end to the car then run 100m down the road and look back (oh......i can still see my car.....cant use fogs) its pathetic, i think police should use their time more constructivly, and go out and arrest propper criminals (like the ones who damage/steal cars for fun)

If it was foggy enough for front fogs to be useful then visability should be well under 100m. And if, as the OP said that that it was extremely foggy then I'd have gotten the copper to measure it.
