I just turnt them on cause it was getting a bit foogy and cause other drivers had them on

I once pulled some bird called Lynne in Glasgow just by having my fog lights on.

She asked if the car was a "gee tee" because of the black wheels.
I just laughed and sped off, timing myself over a 1/4 mile with a gimmick I bought off eBay.

FPMSL - I have to say Mr joff that when I started seeig Lynne. GeeTee's had silver wheels not the black wheels you speak of

I rarely put them on, but i dont think they blind other drivers, only maybe when you're going up hill and they appear over the brow of a hill, but then headlights blind drivers too. I don't see much of a problem with them IMO

My opinion:

if you use your fogs, when its not foggy, then ur a prick, and deserve to be pulled and fined.

If you use your fogs in conjunction with your side lights when its dark, then your also a prick and deserve to be pulled and fined.

If you use fog lights AT ANY OTHER TIME, than when visibility is less than 100 foot, then your a prick, and deserve to be pulled and fined.

If you leave ur rear foglights, even in daytime, then your a prick and deserve to be pulled and fined for em. In all fairness, if you cant see a bright orange light on your dash, then you dont deserve to be driving.

Simple as.

Front fog lights don't make much difference unless it is really foggy and visability is very poor. It's been like that once in the past 2 years where I live.

Fog lights can dazzle, especially on 4x4s where they tend to be mounted higher.

The police were just doing their job

Personally cant stand people driving with fogs on, imo you just look like a gimp..
