I have bought a solenoid and a push switch from maplins just wondering if anyone can shed any light on any pics that people may have of it done or a guide somewhere I know munchie is awaiting the same thing I have searched but to no evail wanting to get this done asap many thanks Paul...

I can't see it propperly mate how exactly have you done it did you just work it off a push switch or have yo uused the wiper motor ? thanks a lot mate

me in the same boat as munchie aswell... i dont get this solenoid business?
can somebody tell me as to how it works and whether its easy to do...

I have all the bits I just need to know how to do it I got my boot smoothed in the summer and I still cant open it without getting the back seats down which is an absolute pain in the @rse

its just a 2wire connection positive and a negative and with a non laching swich you can operate the solinoid
