How much extra is it usually to insure a Jap Import over a UK model of the same car year etc?

Its pretty obscene considering its the same bloody car!! Some insurance companys are up to 40% higher than the uk model.

I would get a uk N/A, there no point buying a jap unless you want a limited edition.

I don't think you'll be able to insure that for under £1500 with the mods listed.
You may aswell buy a Turbo and leave it standard.

yes my mate she imported a zx and pays almost double insurance and there is more or less one difference between uk and jap models

If your gonna get an import make sure it's worth it...GT4 Celica like Drew's..MR2 Turbo...RX7...

Its a 2.0 model.

Can't really afford the running cost of a turbo, RX7 etc. And really like the look of that MR2

But double the insurance, think i may have to give it a miss
