I never new this before but i seen a corsa b five door 1.2 16v
Never new they made a 16v 1.2 for the corsa b
What is they bhp for this engine and what would be involved tranplanting it into a 1994 1.2 8v merit model?
I know there wont be a big difference but my insurance costs keep me at the 1.2 step on the motoring ladder.

I think it'll be just a swap as for the motorbay is the same.
The loom and the ECU needs to be replaced also (my guess).

65-70bhp the made the 16 model in the corsa b's from an S reg i think, could be wrong. personally i wouldnt bother spending on a 16v,not much difference, bit nippier obviously but i'd just wait a bit and stick a 1.4 or 1.6 in

It'll either be 65bhp, or if it's a late Corsa B, then it'll be the 75bhp unit thats now in the Corsa C's.
Agree with Venom too, tis a fair amount of work for a reletively small gain - you'd be better off building up some NCB and dropping in a 1.4/1.6/2.0 in a while.

its not even the NCB thats the problem u see i live in a country called ireland were they ride u up the bum for insurance
it would be a job even getting a quote even if the engine was only modded to 16v spec
