been watching emmerdale over the new year and poor tricia has ended up on a life support machine but is technically dead.
anyway...
if your "other half" was on a life support machine and the decision to turn it off or not was yours, what would you do?!

Yeah it would definately have to be a joint agreement.
Id have to talk things over with the family and come to a group decision.
But it a hard 1

To be honest if i was laying there and "Technically Dead" Id want to be switched off, the amount of stress it would cause to my family and friends id rather I was cremated and remembered for how I was, and they can get on with their lives.

But as for deciding for someone else it would be very difficult but deep down you'll know what is right

my cousin was on life support machine, had the last rites read to her etc and everyone thought she was going to die. My anuty and uncle had to decide if they wanted to keep her on the life support, but the day after having the last rites read to her, she started to get better. Still nobody knows what was wrong with her.

Off, if I was completely brain dead I'd want to die(well I probably wouldn't actually, seeing as I'd know nothing about it but you know what I mean)!

I'd sit there ... and sit there ... and probably cry
I don't think i could ever turn it of but you can't make that kinda decision untill your in that position.
and i hope i never am!
