0-60 IS 7.4 (TESTED BY EVO)
Good car but lives in the shadow of the 205 GTi...
They are underrated but not as good as a 106 GTi!

nice cars, lookgood as standard with the SP kit. drving position seemed a bit high for me, sat on it rather than in it if u get me. Never seemed as planted as the 106 GTI so never felt as confident round the bends. Egine is pretty good although not very powerful for a 2.0, could do with another 15-20bhp.

my bro has one, rear end it bit twitchy at high speeds i think! it was faster than the 205gti on top gear if anyone saw that!!
has stunning traction out or corners, soooo much grip! bet the 180 is even more fun! just a practical fast car, nothing mad tho! iaz

friend of a friend (both work at R-Tec) has a stripped out 206 GTi on 18"s and tis very impressive. Handles well, goes well enuf, sounds sweet with a straight thru exhaust, and even spits small flame
Its been dropped ridiculous amounts and looks the tits, although not everyones cup of tea, and, IMO the car is more suited to the female of the species!

yeah we are talking the "normal" 206 gti's here not the 206 GTI 180, hence the 137bhp and "not that powerful" quote.

You gettin one? Used to have a regular 206. Build quality not up to much but then you expect that from French cars!

Not sure why they made the 180 - not as quick as it's rivals The should have gone for more power imo to enter the Cupra/CTR market with a chance. Wouldn't mind test driving one to see what it's like
