Fitted one of my skirts yesterday and i wanted to wash my car before i fitted the other one today, but i dont wanna soften the tiger seal.

Does anyone know how long it takes ?

what i'd do id get some tiger seal stick two random bits of fibre glass together

when u fit your skirts when u think its dry try and pull the two bits u stuck together if there stuck u know its done

is it the stuff you get with the steiny stuff red if so you can drive it after 12 hours and wash it after 48 hours it should tell you in the instructions

Yeah its wot you get with Steiny stuff, i'd believe what is says only the same stuff i got with my Irmscher rear bumper has different drying times

Or i clould mask off the gap with masking tape to wash it

i wouldn't mate the tape will go soggy and will take ages to get off

u need to mask the sides skirts up ont he side of the car and leave to dry for 24 hours at the min.

Dont drive the car during this period.

that's not what the steinmetz instructions say it says you can drive it after 12 hours and wash after 48 hours

I thought it was something like you can drive it after 6 hours and only wash it after 24 hours or something like that on my steiny stuff.

Well i drove mine home in the pissing down rain just under 6 hours after fixing the rear skirt on and it not fallen off yet!

it will be fine, its the moisture which makes it go off anyway, not air.

where can i get tigerseal from? need it 2 fit my kingdon development skirts, any ideas on how 2 fit them proply

get it from a paint shop. you will probably need to make some brackets for those skirts.

You think i'd be ok to wash my car today then Chris, i fitted the left skirt yesterday.

And Antz if you wanted to smooth them into the bodywork you will need to spray the side of the car as well as the skirts

woz think of smoothin them in then getin the whole car resprayd, only prod is itl b ages b4 i get a respay meanin the cars guna look shit 4 ages
