PDC is made up of all the players who jumped the BDO in 92 due to the dispute between the chairman and the board of organisers, all the top players formed the PDC the founders being John Lowe,Alan Warriner, and Cliff Lazarenko but a lot of the good players who stayed in BDO like John Part and Roland Scholten come to their senses and joined the PDC, all the PDC events ive played in are better organised and higher standard of players

2 years after the PDC was formed Phil Taylor played Raymond van Barneveld in a PDC vs BDO challenge Taylor ripped him apart 31 legs to 4

merv king will win me thinks, hes a PDC registered player except for BDO world championships,he told rod harrington and peter manley at the last uk open event that as soon as hes BDO world champ he'll move over to PDC world champs

nah mate i missed it. I didn't realise there where two championships. Was an unfair way of winning the match. i think he is an execellent dart player but like bobby george said its not in the games interest to do it. Glad they changed therules.
I like barneveld and i thought he would have won it considering the world record he set

nice bloke too, bit bigheaded but hes allowed to be considering hes 11 times world champ. and has the record of averaging 124.56 in Stan James matchplay 2000
