not much, 1.2 8v corsa is 45bhp, so nova MIGHT have a LITTLE more due to having no cat, and its also lighter than a 1.2 corsa

cheers matey! only havin it til me 18th when im gettin rover 214 with 105bhp.....will feel like driving a ferrari compared to the nova lol

just checked an old nova brochure and its quoting 55 for the 1.2.

My 1st car was a 1.2 nova, i stuck a k&n filter element in a cam outta a 1.4 sr and some spitfire plugs pretty nippy considering the side of the engine

the rover is impressive for a 1.4, however its in too big a car to make full use of that Bhp, and therefore slow off the mark.

V reasonable top end speeds tho with a de-cat pipe and better induction
