Don't have a clue lol, but i'd guess the can would give a duller finish.

Best to buy clear clusters and get a bodyshop to give them a few light coats of paint, then loads of layers of laquer.

I just bought some of that Rage tinting spray from PVD. Its really easy to do and Has a good finish.
