How exactly do i get these out....do i need to take the door card off or wot?

u can use a special tool, or you can wack some cloth inbetween them and the door card. then do a kinda sawing action to prise out a little clip. You can then pull them off.
you'll need a the clip to secure them back on when ur done, so dont lose it

so just prise it off the door basically.
Can i not just use a flat-head screwdriver?

the idea is that its a kinda three quarters of a circle clip, with bits pointing out at either end if u get wot i mean at all. The cloth pushes both these sides out at once so its easy enough.
you could do it with a couple screwdrivers but theres no point mate. just make sure u dont need the cloth for ne thing as it may get ripped a little

you need tool which has a very pointy end and is curved cant remember the name .use flat head screw driver to hold winder out abit n then get the "tool" andpull clip out piece of piss if u have tools
