I upgrade my phone on my O2 contract? Ive had it since June and I fancy something else when it comes back from being repaired / replaced ... Do I have to wait till contract expires or can I just pay a bit and give them my existing phone back?

depends on how long is left & what your average monthly bill is
my contract is up in 2 months with orange & to upgrade to an E700 would cost me £149.99
orange are expensive though...

im with t-mobile and they let me have phone worth upto £100 after 10 months (not at PAYG value either) Nokia 8310 to them was worth £20. Could have had a v200 for £50 and that was 6 month ago.
