I'm 19, and work as an IT support analyst. On 15k, and 6% pension. I have been in the job about a year and a half. Work is laid back and relatively easy. Nobody on my back e.t.c.
Only thing is its soooo boring. Fed up of IT and PCs.
Anybody recommend any good careers?
Qualifications:
11 GCSEs all A & B except german (C)
Learning Tree IT Course pass
European Computer Driving License.
Interests:
Cars
Drinking
Or is work just boring in general??

Get yourself a trade. There is loads of work around at the moment and due to loads of people like you doing IT courses etc a serious lack skilled people to do it.
Firms are paying massive wages just to keep the employees they already have, my hourly rate has gone up 50% in the last 18months and I'm cards in working for a firm. (I'm a joiner btw)
The site I've been working on this week had a 2+1 gang of bricklayers(2 brickies,1labourer)and they were coming out with 2k a week between the 3 of them on day work and they were leaving site before 4pm every day. Day work means it doesn't even matter how much they lay in a day, not long ago brickies would have to work flat out on pay as you lay to get anything like that kind of money.

^^^^^ As he said.
I'm earning shit loads cards in and its fairly easy work. Obviously you are gonna earn loads more SE but you have to find work yourself and provide your own gear/transport etc. I prefer the easy life at the mo!
This is in the North too, from what I've heard wages are even higher down south on the bigger jobs.
It might be hard work but it keeps you fit and you can earn as much again in foreigners if you are willing to work.
