Aye - don't think it's the length so much as the height of the filter!

Think of it this way Adam - less bulkhead = less weight

I know this might sound a bit mad, but can you use where the scuttle panel is as an air feed to the TB? If its goign through th bulkhead it'll be where the pollen filter is under the vents int he scuttle. If you could make some kind of a scoop surly that would get lots of air down the pipes.

Also, what effect does having longer trumpets give power/drivability wise?

Adam - yes apparently gives more torque everywhere across the rev range. Steve at SBD reckons I should see 153lb/ft of torque and over 220bhp

Hi Ian. Yes, I took them at Autosport (on my trust old Pentax film camera, then scanned in the negs at low res). I won't go for second injectors - that's the last stage of tuning this engine. It's just that these horns have the facility to add them at a later date if I'm feeling mad enough to contemplate it

This is what I was thinking Daimo. Longer trumpets give more torque everywhere and should improve driveability

Just to check, is it true that SBD will only work on engine-blocks, and not full cars? IE. you have to drop your engine out, chuck it on a pallet, and freight it down to them? A rumour I heard a while ago...
