Just done an insurance quote through http://www.confused.com and they came back with More Than being the cheapest.

£350 tpft, 23 years old, 1.4 Corsa Sport (standard), 4 years no claims.

Can anyone suggest other companies??

Because it only gives one chance to fill the details in before it searches the list of insurers.

I never plan on claiming on it anyway. Even when my car got broken into.

avoid elephant. search my previous musings about them.

try axa.

how much is your car worth? If you lost control on diesel or ice and bent it in half round a lamp post, could you afford to replace it or repair £2.5k damage from your own pocket, for example?

Comp often more than pays for itself when it comes to the time it matters most.

I work for More Th>n well sort of

They are good policies and are not usually that competitive in price but the policy itself wil be good.

Woo hoo, £50 more for fully comp. I'll be having that.

el gordo. I was with Elephant, never had to go through them for any claim reasons so i didn't have much trouble. They have been good for me over the last couple of years and were good when i had mods on my car.

the only worry with them is their preference to quote online a rough price not a full quote, and on a 10-month basis which won't earn you any NCD until the 2nd year is complete.

for most it's not worth the risk when the 2nd year premium comes in (i'm always being given horror stories at work from customers wanting to leave them).
