They are stripped. No luxuries. 8v engine rather than 16v

What you want... is a Rallye 16v There are quite a few ppl who take the Rallye and throw out the 100bhp 8valve lump to fit a tuned up TB'd GTi lump.... Cough * ANIMAL * I want one!

141.8bhp actually Des
Nath, the black one your refering to is it in Autotrader just now?
Its supposed to be a dog, it was for sale a few months back for £2500 is something but needed work doing.
The dealer didn't have a V5 for it either so it sounds well dodgy.
I'd steer clear if i were you.

For £3295 and that mileage that is a bargain, however i suspect that could be a LHD car, they were only white and blue in the UK for the S2`s. They do indeed eat all variants of VTR`s, Have the same suspension as a GTi, if you raced a 106 Gti i think it would come down to driver skill rather then the car, they are very close performance wise. Ive had an S1 and S2 rallye so any questions pls U2U me.
