Spoke to Phil at HIC to get a quote for a GSi. Told him that the only mods were 15"s and stainless exhaust.

I'm 20, been driving for 3 years, and have zero no-claims bonus
The quote was: -
£1230 TPFT
£2500 Fully Comp

Also told them I was a premium member from this site. I couldn't believe how high it was. I thought HIC were cheap.

elephant quoted me £1398, im 19 thats with all mods except NoS, thats a comp quote and i have NO no-claims!! i do have a good postcode tho?????? and before some1 says thats a 12 month price and i can monthly!!!

I didn't find HIC too cheap. They wanted over £600 fc for a standard 1.4 sport and 4 years no claims.

I was with Elephant until they wanted £460 tpft for same details.

I'm going to be with More Th>n. £393 fully comp.

http://www.confused.com/ try these... fill 1 form in and they do the rest with loadsa ins. co's. Got g/f fc on 'L' Corsa B, she passed on 5/1/04 and has 1yr no claims, with me as 2nd driver (n i got 2 x SP30's!!!!!)

They're not going to beat everyone, all the time. And you're not going to find cheap insurance at 20 with no NCB on a GSi.

its not worth going fully comp on a car of that value at your age tho. one reason for this is that you wouldnt claim if u crashed would u? ud b raped for insurance next time if u did

i was payin 1050 wiv elephant on GT4 exhaust alloys n tints declared, oh it was an import i was 23 and in medium risk postcode, this was fully comp protected, no other insurance company could come close, it was an import too.
