I need a new bush for the steering column where it goes through the bulkhead to meet an assisted rack. I went to the dealer the other day to order one and they're no longer listed.

Is it worth me trying motor factors or do I have a nightmare task at the scrap yard on my hands?

Do you not have a local specialist vauxhall breakers?

I'm worried that they won't split the bush as its essential to upgrade a car without PAS - you'd need rack, pipes, resevoir and this bush.

I don't want pay 10 quid for it either. Our local place take the mick a little.

You fitting Pas then? I know what you mean the place near me used to make silly prices up when i had corsa.

im on two minds wether to fit pas to mine, but i have luxury of a ny old car with all the bits.
surley some dealerships will still have some in stock???

I'd hope so Matt. The guy said he'd do a dealer search for me but hasn't got back as yet. He said the other day after he'd quoted 400 quid for GSi steering wheel that he was going to look for one those as well

They've thrown stuff away in the past that hasn't sold. Not GSi steering wheels but expensive stuff nevertheless!
