I wouldnt do it if I were you. 185 is the aspect ratio or width of the tyre.
So a 195 tyre is wider than the wheel is designed for.

you can drop profile fine no prods. e.g gor from 195/55/15 to 195/50/15 or lower.
but i dont think you can change aspect. e.g you have to stay at 195 or whatvere

you wouldn't be able to go from 185 to 195 as the tyre is wider than ur alloy. Well i wouldn't do it anyway

you can run 185s on a 195 wheel, so it should be ok the other way about, phone up one of the alloy wheel places in maxy p or something and ask...

yes it is fine to do so, you should be able to run 205's on those rims too.
my bro is running 185's on rims that came with 165's and they are only 5" wide rims.

you have to laugh at some of the repsonses to this question.....ur talking 1cm difference here between 185 & 195
how many wheels do u get were their width's go up in cm's??

a bit of info for you, putting on a wider tyre will only give you more grip in the dry, in the wet it is worse than the the tyre you are replacing
therefore car manufacturers put a tyre on to suit the car - weight & performance wise
