my oil will be runnin a little low now, m i ok to just refill it with castrol or magnatex (sp)

if so which is the best oil to use?

give it a oil and filter change

then use one of them, wouldnt say add it to tya standard oil

i havent got 125 for a service as yet and im a little worried that it may be runnin low and dont really wanna fuck owt, so can i just top it up n e way/ and then get a service next month?

Ok for the short term to get you by untill you can take it to get changed, dont fuck around when it comes to oil - cost me big time

can normal oil mix with semi / fully synthetic?

No idea, I just know your better with oil than without, I put off getting a change and my big end went - Ooooops, new engine £1500 please

Better to change the lot of the oil...rather than top it up...only cost u £20 odd for enough to do full oil change!

thats wot im meaning - mite be best to top up with normal stuff - and then change to the synthetic when ya do the full change

they may mix - i dont know

True, those small bottles are around a tenner aint they???

Take it somewhere for oil, filter and a flush, shouldnt be too much £

ok then. i might just get vaux to do it wen they service it, but for now ill just go get a little bottle or castrol only about a 10a

what engine have you got? if it is a 1.2 16v it wil use 10w/40 oil and the best to use would be vauxhalls own semi synthetic so just top it up with that. Most oils now days are multi grade so u can often mix them anyways

You can top it up but u shuld use the same grade oil thats already in there

Use 10w40 semi synth and it will be fine. If your car is running on the original oil thats what it should have in.

ok cheers, ill go see what oil they have at the petrol station, 10w40, rite, whats that mean ne way
