got sum JBL components, not dealt with components be for so im not really clued up on them.. my questions are, on the crossovers there are 3 sets of terminals, one for the woofer and one for the tweeter, (simple enough) and one for the amp? i dont have a seperate amp, so would i just hook up my sterio wires into here?? And also there are 3 sets of wires.. 2 lots with copper wire inside and 1 lot with silver, would the silver be for if i had external amp?? sorry for the essay!! cheers, kev

yeah u will have ur pos an neg power terminals
then a set of terminals for the mid and a set of terminals for the tweet
just connect ur HU outputs to the power terminals..and ur mid and tweet accordingly!!
dint mix em up lol a tweeter wont last long gettin full range frequencies...
believe me ;-)
i made the mistake and realised as HU powered up by time i got it turned off it had fried it

reet lemme straighten out your confused little heads.
You will get a pair of crossovers.
On each crossover you will have 3 sets of terminals (if they are passive which in most cases they are).
One will say 'Input'. You connect the - and + of the appropriate speaker output of your headunit or amplfier to this. Another will say 'WOOFER' or 'MID'. You connect the - and + of your midrange driver to this. And then you will have 'TWEETER', connect the - and + of your tweeter to this.
This way each speaker will only get the frequencies they are designed to produce.
