TB's, dont bother with turbo
TB's sound better, more reliable, progressive power curve instead of a sharp hike which means fook all traction

nos is a pussys way of getting power!
put in another valver, and tune it. TBs, inlet manifolds, flywheels ect.

You want ultimate power at the price of driveability or a nice curve and good delivery? I think I answered that one there.

Throttles! Throttles! Throttles! Throttles!
As you can see, I think you should go with the rebuild and throttles.

Why does a leaking sump and oil pump mean a rebuild?
Depends what you want. If you do the tb's you'll be spending a fair bit of money for an ok bit of power, and that will be pretty much all you can get out of it for reasonable money.
With the turbo you get tb power to start with and its fairly cheap to tune to more.
Its more of a lazy power than the tb's.
LMFAO @ Corsabubbles hints.
Both is pointless and expensive.
A turbo rebuild shouldn't be that more expensive that an tb'd XE rebuild, only the cost of the turbo to to add....

LET = £ expensive.
TB = Expensive
Twin carbs, cheap, cheerfull, bye bye cabling/ecu etc and still 200+bhp obtainable.
LET is smoother, but the XE on TB or carbs is great. LET is expensive to get in, even doing it at home, but then so are the throttle bodies.
End of the day, how do u want the car to be?
Track type car, rag the tits off of it, enjoy the noise and good power delivery
or
Smoothness, something you can drive to the shops, get there quickly, but stuggle for grip all the way down there.

Oh, btw
XE = TB = 250bhp
LET = Turbo = 280bhp
XE would have killed the LET corsa. Been in both.

Tb's are fine for everyday use, and are just as smooth as a turbo with a decent map.

Yeah, and u need to rag the tits off them to get that power.
Turbo unit u can be bogging along, puit ur foot down and it'll jsut pickup and go. Throttle bodied 2.0 wont do this as well.
Bloke i bought my Viper from had TB on his 2.0 Astra. He wanted to sell the whole engine because he wanted the smoother power delivery of the LET.
