Looks like a trojan horse. Just did a quick search for you, someone reccomends running adaware first and see if that helps.

AUTOUP.exe looks dodgy, but only cos i think i saw it in a page i just read. Gimme a min ill see if i can find out more.

only had this hard drive and motherboard ect runnin less than a week and i thought there looked too many processes running

have u tried running norton or something similar, and adaware? Im pretty careful on the net but still found a few dodgy files.

my virus checker removed the trojan just wondered wot it was
just runnin the adware now
how often u recommend runnin that by the way??

hmmmmm something funny about that autoupdate.exe and libexpat.dll thats linked to it kus ad ware couldnt remove them

i run it about once every 2 weeks. Or if i think something has been downloaded (my sister and freinds use this PC soemtimes too)

My AdAware does a full system-scan on startup, safer that way!

Also try Bazooka Spysearch or something like that. It doesn't automatically remove spyware like adaware does, but it seems to have a better idea of what's installed.
It then provides you with loads of info on what each program is/does and how to remove it.

Spyware itself isn't dangerous, just annoying and an invasion of privacy..
As long as you've got an up to date virus scanner you should be fine against trojans, worms and the like.

ive got avg anti virus and it automatically updates
it removed that trojan so seems ok to me
anyone know wot the virus does??
