Also had Clifford Intele(sp) Start fitted. Can start the car from outside (without putting keys in).
Excellent for warming the car up on a cold winters morning without having to get in it first

you can't leave it in gear with intellistart.
you have to arm it while it's still running before you get out of it in order for it to start from remote next time

I dont have pots of cash luv, but I do spend a lot on my car.
I do as much as I can, but I know my limits too. There's a point where you have to involve the professionals and pay for the privalage.
Going to the same place for the work doing is advantageous, because after a while (and a certain amount of money spent) you get discounts off some things. I advertise companies at all the shows I go to, so that works both ways.
I've made the custom door pods myself(and I wont be doing that again!!) That in itself will have saved hundreds, if not close to a grands worth of labour.
I've made the custom surround for the dash screen headunit
I'm relocating the amps myself (making a mounting bracket and cutting panel to size)
I'll be re assembling the interior. I'll be making the pod to house the centre speaker.
I'll be mounting the TV in the boot and the PA2 and the processor.
And some other bits aswell. All this saves LOADS in labour charges.
I wont be wiring the system cause I aint got a clue on that.
I wont be retrimming the seats and stuff in leather cause I cant do that either.
