oki got two prob...... am hopin ther both wut i think... any way,
wen i start it fire 1st time, but sound likes it gonna cut out thn afta a few secs its away, and when im in 1st 2nd and sumtimes 3rd n floor it it start to jerk.... as if ive got kangaroo petrol 
do u reckon it cud be miss fire so will need new spark plug n HT leads?

Mine started doing it, i improcved matters by using higher octane fuel but now it seems to have got worse...

checked the pipe leading to ya map sensor... mine had split and caused same-ish problem as u

lol, jerkings mate, dont get me started on that, mine does it and its costing me ££££ to find the problem, i removed the egr system, new plugs new leads, ran injector cleaner thru it, now im gettin the injectors ultrasonically cleaneds, and checking al the earths to see if that solves the problem! mind you mine jerks when im cruising at any steady speed, if urs does it under acceleration it may be worth changing the ht leads, get some from halfords £30, vauxhall change to much! also change ur plugs could solve it

Are we talking jerking as if it wants to drive itself? Mines done that for ages, when revs get to about 2k, it feels as if its injecting too much fuel or summing, and jerks forwards and backwards until i depress the clutch.

this usually only applys to 1.4 8v due to the positioning of the pipe
in red- pipe leadind to map sensor
u could check the pipes in blue to see if they r clean and not filled up with mayo... like mine due to high build up of condesation! 
i cleaned they out and perfect

wen i take pipes off will any liquid cum out? do i hav to turn summat off? or can ijust take off and clean?

mine was doing this, would go along at 30 without me needing to touch accelerator cleaned the ICV and it worked
