help
i tried to turn my comi on, and heard a click through the speakers, like the fuse had gone in the plug, but it hasn't. opened the comi up, the motherboard light is on, so getting power, but the comi won't turn on. anyone got any ideas before i take it to the comi shop

sounds like a surge to me mate I take it, you press the power button, nout happens? Take the PSU out and check the fuses in side of that. On mine there is two fuses and ive had it were one has blown but the mobo is still getting power. Changed both fuses and it worked again NB - dunno if newer PSU's have fuses in them though.

Else failing that, it could be anything from the cpu, to the ram, to a blown bios etc. Although its odd that the mobo lights up, but doesnt power up :S Take it to PC world and get them to look at it. Expensive, but it will save you having to go through changing parts and plug bits in and out etc. However, once you have found whats wrong, according to them, check it yourself, then go buy the bits off the net rather than from PC World

only found one fuse and its good, so looks like the comi shop tomorrow
