right, ive got a 98' sport and when the windows get below half open they slow right down, n the drivers' stops, they're a bit beta goin up, but its still annoying when u want to open ur window fully u have to push it down! i was thinking its just grim and dirt in the runners, but just wanted to ask if any 1 else had experienced this before?

Yep, I got exactly the same thing. To fix it I adjusted the window mechanism. There are two bolts under the door card that you can slacken, slide left/right and then re-tighten.

I know this is bumping an old topic but saved making a new one.
My windows are quite slow at opening and closing. So unloosening these bolts will speed them up?
How much do you need to unloosen them by?

Spray it down the runners mate.
Stick the straw down the rubber seal and give it a few blasts.
Try the window and repeat!

Just use WD40 FFS!
Or take the door card off the inside of the door and you will see the runners.
They you can loosen all the bolts you like but when your window falls off its runners after you do it wrong, you'll be thinking why didnt i just spray a lil wd40 on it in the 1st place!
