I own a 1.2 8v currently and my m8 has jus bought a 1.0 12v n he says its faster than my 1.2???? i think hes wrong!!! so am i right???

i think "faster" is the wrong term to use as neither of them dont exactly break sound barriers.

Its best you dont think about speed or racing when you own either of those cars

erm my speedometer read 110 in my old 1.2 with three up on the flat however i seriously doubt it was anywhere near that.

Should also point out the car was standard

no but ive got a 1.6 8v nova gsi engine to put in mine!!! but he jus wont shut up sayn his is quicker than mine at da mo

Corsa b 1.0 top end is 93
And corsa b 1.2 8v is 90

Yup..those things just have no power in lower gears let alone in fourth or fifth
