Yup, shit it in the first half but it all came good after Mr Gregory dished out a suitable bollocking!

We've drawn some French side called Limouxin in the next round, quater finals for us then!

It was a pathetic turnout, I think it was only about 6,700.

Wigan were awful in the first half but pretty shit hot in the second, it looks like they have lost Brian Carney for a bit which is pretty harsh on top of all the other injuries.

I reckon Widnes will be lucky to avoid relegation this year though, they have already lost to Salford and as soon as Wigan started playing properly the defence was shot to bits. Can't imagine Mike bein too impressed with me for saying that though!

Carney is a big loss as Wigans only other recognised winger is David Hodgson and he is also injured, he was due to be playing centre this year too and we don't have any spares in that position either, damn salary cap.

£12 behind the sticks. Its £14 down one side and £16 down the other, go figure.

I have a season ticket though

I'd like to go watch a game, I bet its a good atmosphere.

I watched it in the comfort of a Widnes home eating toast and drinking tea

Its great, I love it, especially the big games, Saints, Bradford, Leeds etc.

I was at the Wigan-Saints playoff last year and it was a sell out, Wigan were hammering them and I was just grinning like a freak!

The Good Friday game against Saints was the best I have ever been to. We had a massive injury list, threw in a load of youngsters and no one gave us a chance, even the Wigan fans were expecting a beating. They were about 20points up in the first half but we came back and held on to a 2 point lead for about 20mins, everyone just stood and applauded for about 10mins after the game (well, not the Saints fans, they were gutted)!

It really easy at JJB now, there are massive car parks right next to the ground and its simple to get in etc, facilities are good too, no pissing up a mouldy concrete block wall like the old Central Park
