Hello Guys with a delta evo front bumper do you have any probs with overheated engine like with this bumper i got a no grill 1 on mine see guys and a flat bonnet but its bad boy and extended, i would like to keep bonnet as it is with no lourves like or vents would the engine be are rite coz there is a massive gap between the radiotor and the bumper so i knew there would be air ciruclation and heat getting out!!!
Need Advice on this asap peeps cheers

so matey did she hav switch fixed up so she can turn it on wen every or did she just leave it as it is and it turned on automatic???

im sure a 1.2 8v wouldn't need that much cooling down.... or air feeds really..... might b wrong tough..

just be vry careul. iv had to cut some slats in mine, as the lack of cooling made it overheat and i ended up blowin my haed gasket. its a 1.6 btw. i tried cold air feeds but didnt make a difference wen i was drivin slowly. try it and c. i wish i bought the grill oned now, mine looks shit with the slats in

Fan wasn't on a manual switch nope. She never got that hot anyway. Always sat at mid 90's.

Yes, thats the original one.
D5 had it smoothed over.
Few months later they were sellign them like that.

so wat u think damio is mine ok mate need to know this like is it worth having a vent in my bonnet??? wat iam only going to do is hav 2 pipes fitted towards the raditor me mate said shud b no props like coz u can put ya arm in between the rad and bumper loads of ciruculation he said ???

1.2 8v doesn't produce much heat (well it does, but nowt like a 16v will as they seem to run hotter).
You'll be fine with it. Just keep your eye on the water temp. If it goes up, there are other ways of lowering under bonnet temperatures. Exhaust heat wrap, manual fan switch etc.

dont want to worry u but my 1.2 8v used to be a bugger for running hot. nowt up with the engine that was just the way it was

i have overheating problems without the grill..... fan comes on all the time now! thats jsut with a piddly wee 1.4 8v...
think i'll need to get something sorted out
