Might have to get one
how much am i going to have to spend for a decent one?? and can you get them with the amps already built in or do they have to come seperate.
The reason i ask is tha i cant afford to take up the whole boot with a sub and amp as need to still get things in there.
Cheers

Very easy to do. You don't even have to take the door panel completely off.

if u need space then put the amp elsewhere, i.e. not in the boot and put a good sub in the boot on its own.
i'd reccomend an alpine mrd-m300 amp with a JL 12W3V2-D4 sub to go with it.

Mr. Penguin is that a stelf shelve you have there?? - how much you pay for it??
Also how are you finding the sound with a sub and 6x9s as i kept getting told dont bother with 6x9s as you dont really need your rear speakers???

stealth shelf i bought a while ago, don't know the price, but make it yourself. as for the 6x9's i changed to them because they're better than standard.

I changed my front speakers for 6½" alpines, cost me about 70 quid adn they finished off the install, sounded pants with std ones. Because your ears hear better from the front u need better front speakers
